About Indiana Academy


IAND membership totals nearly 1350 food and nutrition professionals in 2016.  The majority are active members whose careers span 20 different areas of practice in Indiana.  297 of our members are students who are studying at one of the six ACEND accredited education programs across the state to become Registered Dietitians or Dietetic Technicians.  75 members have enjoyed a career in Dietetics, have retired, and remain members to continue the tradition of life long learning.

Programs and Services

To promote sound nutrition information for the public, the Association sponsors publications, educational events and health fairs. Indiana Academy lobbies for state legislation such as bills that will contribute to the nutritional well-being of the public.
